New Peer To Peer Application Revolutionizes File Sharing

MyWebServer LLC announces the free download of MyWebServer. MyWebServer is a new Windows file sharing program from MyWebServer LLC that lets you, your friends, and everyone in the world share files! Built on web browser technology, MyWebServer provides a simple, easy to use interface that allows anyone on the internet to access your files with nothing more than a web browser and a password.

You and a group of your friends can use use MyWebServer as a tool to create a walled in electronic file sharing community under your own control. MyWebServers built in password protection controls who can gain access to it. This improves your computer performance and network connection speed over other public file sharing architectures. In public file sharing systems you share your computers processing power and internet connection bandwidth (speed) with complete strangers. This can result in cyber grid-lock bringing your computer and internet connection to a crawl for you and all the strangers that are downloading files from your computer. If you are only sharing files with with your friends you'll have the peace of mind at least someone you know is getting the benefit of your reduced computer power and speed.

You can also use MyWebServer as an unrestricted global file sharing tool without any password protection. You can even pick and choose which files you want to make available to the public and those you want to password protect. This ability to configure the way the program is deployed allows the users of the system to interpret the "fair use" section of the US Copyright Act and decide what what they think "fair use" means.  And only share files with their actual friends and acquaintances if they wish. While many copyright holders may not like any type of file sharing. A secure file sharing program used with passwords probably complies a little more with the "fair use" section of the copyright act than public access file sharing systems that allow everyone in the world to share files.

MyWebServer comes complete with several built in Web Applications like the Favorites Page. The Favorites Page publishes the collection of internet  shortcuts or book marks from your web browser on a web page that you can access from anywhere on the internet.
