Port Setting

I keep getting the following error message:"Your Browser sent a malformed request. You may need to configure your browser to use proxies, or you may need to change the port that your webserver is using."
Any suggestions on how to correct this. I don't know how to change the port settings. I believe I have changed the proxie settings.
