I cant see my ASP pages when I upload them :(

If I upload a ASP page to my server the server will not display them?, any ideas?

I've tryed starting with index.html, which works fine and then linked to to mailing list.asp, the problem is that if you follow the link a "save / open" pop up appears. I just want to display the ASP page.
