Copyright Policy Statement

MyWebServer is an Web Server and Application Server system provided by MyWebServer LLC to enable friends and associates to share and exchange computer files that are located on each others computers while they are interconnected by a computer network like the internet. The files that you may locate while connected to MyWebServer are not stored on MyWebServer LLC's servers. MyWebServer LLC does not, and cannot, control what content is made available to others using the MyWebServer software. MyWebServer users decide what content (files) to make available on their computers to others who are using a Web Browser. Accordingly, you are responsible for complying with all applicable federal and state laws applicable to such content, including copyright laws.

MyWebServer LLC respects copyright law and expects our users (the people who are running the MyWebServer software) to do the same. Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, public display, or public performance of copyrighted works is an infringement of the copyright holders' rights. You should be aware that some computer files may have been created or distributed without the copyright owner's authorization. As a condition to the license to use the SOFTWARE, you agree that you will not use the SOFTWARE to infringe the intellectual property rights of others in any way. You also agree to comply with all of the notices, terms and conditions posted on the MyWebServer web site, including but not limited to the Terms of Use and the MyWebServer Copyright Policy posted thereon.

If you need more information on copyrights you can take a look at the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office web site at http://lcweb.loc.gov/copyright/) Persuant to this law you may be asked to remove infringing material (files) from your computer by the owner of copyrighted material or a person authorized to act on behalf of an owner of a copyright or of any exclusive right under the copyright.
